Event Page - Walk for Life 2021

EVENT DETAILS

Join us for a family-friendly, life-affirming event! Your ticket donation will go to directly support Family Life Services and all the moms we service in Washtenaw County. After you register for the walk, you can also choose to go the extra mile and fundraise by asking your network to support us as well. Sign up for your very own fundraising page by following the link in your registration email or clicking here. There will be awesome prizes for our top fundraisers and everyone who raises at least $50 will get a t-shirt (while supplies last).

Check in starts at 9 am, walk is at 10 am, followed by an inspiring talk, praise and worship, music and games. This year, the one mile, accessible walk will run through beautiful wooded trails at Marsh View Meadows Park in Saline. Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are welcome.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs so they can spread out and enjoy the park. If you are not able to join us in person, we invite you to register for the virtual walk and walk a mile on your own, wherever you are!

Parking is limited this year so we encourage you to carpool with others, if you can.

FUNDRAISING ON YOUR OWN

If you are attending and want to help out even more, create your own fundraising page! You can also do this if you want to help us fundraise and you are not attending. Here's how:

1. Click here and then click "Start Fundraising" to make your own page. If you want to donate to someone else's fundraiser, you can find those on the main page.
2. Follow the steps to create your page. (NOTE: If you are a group organization like a club or church, you can make a fundraising page for your organization by making an account for your organization. To do this, you must register without using a Facebook account, so that you can put your organization name as the first and last name when creating an account).
3. Share with friends and family!
